Bonnet opening on some vehicles can be an awkward and strenuous activity. This risk of a serious accident or injury is high due the inherent heavy nature of the bonnet.
Minecorp have developed a gas strut bonnet lift kit to turn this task into a less taxing operation. Installation is quick and simple with the utilisation of purpose designed, CNC laser cut & pressed brackets. The bonnet is held firmly open by two sturdy gas struts, eliminating the risky and tedious use of the factory bonnet prop bar. The unit does not require the removal of the factory bonnet positioning rod.
