Most factory fitted air intakes are situated low in the bonnet or front guard of a vehicle making it easy for dust and water ingress that could lead to high vehicle maintenance or even premature engine failure. Snorkels are designed to keep dust and water away from the engines air intake. In any dirt, dusty or remote areas, we advise that all vehicles be fitted with a snorkel.
