Engineered from light weight, high tensile, Cold Drawn (CD) tube, ROPS Internal 6 Point is manufactured from the latest Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) mandrel bending technology.

Roll overs can occur through speed, cornering, driver inexperience, sub-standard road conditions, overloaded vehicles, fatigue, collision with another vehicle or object and traversing a critical slope. These accidents can happen to the most experienced drivers regardless of the time of day and on any surface.

Without roll over protection, the strength to weight ratio of the structure above the dashboard is insufficient to maintain adequate occupant survival space ie. the roof caves in and crushes the occupants. Minecorp has designed and manufactured an internal roll over protection system that not only helps maintain the occupants’ survival space but does not effect the vehicle’s centre of gravity, does not inhibit the occupants’ cabin space and complies with the Australian National Code of Practice (LH8, LK9 and installed in compliance to LK10).

All Minecorp Safety Cell ROPS are installed with integrated head impact padding moulded from self extinguishing and odourless polyurethane to meet the performance criteria requirements of the Australian Design Rules (ADR).

Features

  • Utilises Minecorp Safety Cell™ (ROPS) coupling to maximise strength and eliminate protruding fasteners
  • Integrated Minecorp Safety Cell™  (ROPS) head impact padding that exceeds ADR head impact criteria
  • Tested to maintain the integrity of safety assist technology eg. side curtain airbags and seat belts
  • Manufactured from CNC mandrel bent CD tubing
  • Structurally mounted to body of vehicle
  • Light weight option with little or no effect on the load carrying capacity
  • Complies with performance criteria as per National Code of Practice

Engineering

Through dedicated research and development, Minecorp designs and manufactures products to comply with all relevant ADR and manufacturing standards. Products are engineered from high quality raw materials that have been independently tested in third party laboratories for compliance and safety. Welding exceeds the requirement of Australian Standard 1554.1.2004 and independent validation is conducted.

Minecorp ROPS do not encroach upon occupant space or vehicle access. The B pillar structure is designed to ensure passenger comfort, seating position and head space. They do not interfere with the functionality of the vehicle as it was originally designed and manufactured.

All new vehicles with air bags are tested by Minecorp engineers to ADR72/00 Dynamic Side Impact Occupant Protection to ensure the ROPS do not interfere with the operation of the airbags or triggering devices.
